Jintek is a software consultancy focused on Bitcoin and decentralized identity. We design, build, and maintain systems that give individuals and organizations control over their own data, keys, and digital relationships — without relying on centralized intermediaries.

What We Do

We build decentralized identity infrastructure grounded in open standards — W3C DIDs, Verifiable Credentials, and Bitcoin-anchored protocols. Our primary work is on the did:btcr2 method specification and its reference implementation, but we engage with the broader DID ecosystem and evaluate each tool on its own merits.

Why Decentralization?

Centralized systems create single points of failure, control, and surveillance. Decentralized alternatives distribute trust and reduce these risks. That said, every architecture involves tradeoffs — in cost, complexity, performance, and usability. We help clients navigate those tradeoffs honestly, choosing the right tool for the problem rather than applying decentralization as a default answer.
